Bookkeeping

Understand your books.
Stay ahead of the questions.

Bank activity, sales reports and receipts should tell a story you can follow. Bring them into a consistent routine, with clear summaries and unresolved items flagged for your review.

What the work
looks like.

01

Connect the activity

Match the records provided across accounts, sales channels, fees, refunds and deposits. Keep transfers and duplicate records visible for review.

02

Reconcile and explain

Review the agreed period, identify differences and ask specific questions. Document gaps rather than guessing at missing information.

03

Receive a useful handoff

Get an organized summary, supporting record references and a list of remaining questions for you or your tax preparer.

What the scope can include

A clear scope
before we begin.

  • An agreed account list, period and scope
  • Organization and reconciliation of the records provided
  • Questions and discrepancies documented for review
  • A summary of completed work and remaining gaps
  • A repeatable routine for the next period

A few good questions.

Do I need organized records before asking?

No. Describe what you have and the period involved. Catch-up work is scoped separately from ongoing monthly bookkeeping.

Do you only work with breeders?

No. Small businesses and self-employed people are welcome. Breeders and expo vendors are a specialty with their own resources.

Is a bookkeeping summary a tax return?

No. Bookkeeping organizes and reconciles activity. Tax preparation and decisions about tax treatment require a separately agreed scope.

Talk through
the next step.
